I’m kinda disappointed in Oud Wood EDP. It didn’t meet the hype to me. The dry down is nice. But the initial top note has a slightly sharp chemical smell. Almost like a cleaner or something. Dry down is solid though.
The Tom Ford I received was either watered down or is simply a weak cologne. It smells very nice initially, but fades too quickly for a cologne at this price range.
The only concern that I have is the glass vial. I wish you could purchase some type of metal dispenser to hold the glass vial. I am worried that the glass vial is going to break if dropped or bumped. Also, carrying the glass in your pocket is a no-go. Outside of that, I am pleased and will probably order a larger bottle next time.
Oud wood has grown on me the more I use it. The vetiver reminds me of other TF scents I like, like Ombre Leather. Very masculine and woody, but also sweet, just buy it knowing that women may not take to it as well as other scents.
